Who operates the site
The operator responsible for this website is die.tax, London, United Kingdom. Use the contact page and select Privacy request to ask about your personal information or exercise a privacy right.
Calculator inputs and shared links
Your calculator inputs are sent to our server to produce an illustration. The application does not intentionally save those inputs in its enquiry database. Shared links keep asset values and illustration settings in their URL so the same illustration can be reopened. Anyone receiving a link can read those values. Server and infrastructure logs may contain requested URLs and technical request information. Do not enter names, account numbers or other information the calculator does not need.
Enquiries and advertising requests
When you submit a contact or advertising form, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company, enquiry category, selected plan and message. We use these details to consider and respond to the enquiry, manage potential advertising arrangements, handle privacy requests and prevent misuse. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a message.
How data is used
We process enquiry information to respond to requests, take steps relating to a requested commercial arrangement, operate and secure the service, and comply with applicable obligations. Where a lawful basis is required, these activities can involve legitimate interests, steps requested before a contract, or legal obligations, depending on the request. Optional analytics is based on your consent.
Cookies and browser storage
The site stores your selected theme and analytics preference in your browser. Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose Allow analytics. Analytics is disabled unless you enable it. There is no popup; you can change your choice using the analytics controls on this page. Accepting analytics can allow Google to use analytics cookies and process technical usage information. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics loading and attempts to remove the site analytics cookies; it does not automatically erase data already collected.
Analytics and service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and its database and can process technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the service. If you opt in, Google Analytics measures page usage through a separate frame using the page path, rather than illustration values, as the reported page URL. We do not send form messages, email addresses or calculator input fields as analytics event parameters. The page-path treatment does not remove values from your shared illustration links. Google and Cloudflare may process information internationally under their own arrangements and applicable safeguards.
Retention and sharing
Enquiries are stored in the site database until removed by the operator. We retain information where needed to handle the enquiry, maintain relevant business records, prevent misuse or meet legal obligations. You can request deletion through the contact page. Technical and analytics retention also depends on provider settings. We do not publish enquiry details or sell them. Disclosure may be necessary to service providers, to comply with law or to protect the service.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of personal data, object to processing, request portability or withdraw consent. We may need to verify a request before acting. To withdraw analytics consent, use the analytics controls on this page. For other requests, use the contact form. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner Office or another relevant supervisory authority.
